PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS:- Community Leadership Committee of Fort Lauderdale 2001-2002
- Committee Member - Broward County Art In Public Places 1992
- Chairperson - City Fort Lauderdale Sand Castle Competition 1986 - 1988
EXPERIENCE:Craig Barry, a Principal at
SingerArchitects, has been an integral part of the work of the firm since associating with Donald Singer in 1972. He brings to projects his thirty-plus years of construction document experience, providing an in-depth understanding of South Florida construction problems. Craig Barry has provided quality assurance / quality control and code review services for hundreds of
SingerArchitects designs. His work has included several medical office buildings, M. Sterling clothing store and City Park, the Fort Lauderdale urban plaza and garage which re-ignited interest in the development of downtown.
Mr. Barry sees the assurance in quality documents as the means to achieving a quality building for
SingerArchitects’ clients. That goal is achieved through compliance with all applicable codes, completeness of the work and a well orchestrated coordination between the architectural and engineering disciplines. When these goals are accomplished, construction projects run smoothly and change orders are minimized.
Mr. Barry is currently managing the $12 million Government Center interior renovation and addition for Broward County. This complex project includes programming, master planning, infrastructure upgrades, re-roofing, addition of a building connector, as well as a 170,000 square foot interior renovation.

DON SINGERDon Singer formed
SingerArchitects in 1964 based on the fundamental idealism that architecture is not taste, whim, imitation or decoration of function. It is, instead, anticipation of life raising architecture to the level of art. Using this principle Don Singer has guided the firm in creating orderly, thoughful architecture in South Florida from then until today.
